Evaluating financial sustainability of municipalities

R65.00
R65.00

Many municipalities are currently facing going concern issues, and as such, might not be sustainable over the short to medium term.  This short course will teach you the five key ratios that can be used to evaluate the sustainability of municipalities.

After the training, it will also provide you with access to the financial results of any municipality in South Africa.  This will enable auditors to understand the immediate risk of liquidity, and will influence the audit plan accordingly.

It will assist councillors to access the financial results of their own municipalities, and contribute towards more effective contributions in council and budget meetings.

It will assist risk managers to fully grasp the risks relating to poor liquidity, poor credit control and debt collection processes.

Audit Committee members will benefit from the knowledge to assist them with more effective oversight over the assurance processes within municipalities.

The training will take two hours and a certificate will be issued afterwards.
