The Global Internal Audit Standards have been released with the targeted implementation date of 9 January 2025. This course provides guidance for Chief Audit Executives, Audit Committee Members and local government auditors on the way forward. A CPD certificate for 2 CPD points is available after completing the quiz at a cost of ZAR 75.

Curriculum

The new Global Internal Audit Standards^TM, released January 9, 2024, will become effective January 9, 2025. Internal audit functions may start adopting the Standards now.

The Standards guide the worldwide professional practice of internal auditing and serve as a basis for evaluating and elevating the quality of the internal audit function. At the heart of the Standards are 15 guiding principles that enable effective internal auditing.

This course creates awareness and a summary of key focus areas for the period leading up to the implementation and the effective date of 9 January 2025.

Once purchased it provides life-time access, and it is updated on a regular basis.

The information provided is free of charge, but to enable the generation of a certificate for CPD purposes, participants need to answer questions. The pass rate on the questions is 80%. A certificate is available after successful completion of the quiz.
