To this end, the Board also subscribes to the standards of corporate governance and ethics that are stated in the King report.
The video captures it beautifully, furthermore organizations that subscribe to this CODE can avoid most of governance failures. It is also encouraging that Code IV has changed its application ‘regime’ to Apply and Explain, as oppose to “Comply or Explain” as was required by King III
The golden rule of Ethics definition is something that I believe all organisations should subscribe to and that is — TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED. Once this is achieved — then it should be easy on others to follow the definition of culture — THIS IS HOW WE DO THINGS EVEN IF NO ONE IS WATCHING. Ethical characteristics are unpacked impeccably, clearly and succinctly in the video. Overall, very informative.
